His arrival was greeted with the ‘ most deafening cheers’, while the ladies waved scarves and handkerchiefs.

News reports yesterday (Thursday) said there was a chance that Ms Commins and her Ugandan colleague Hilda Kawuki, who were abducted by armed men last Friday, could be released shortly.
